When it comes to giving the student the best tools for excellent musical growth, the Leblanc VITO clarinets are the only real choice. Unlike many other clarinets, those instruments made by Vito are manufactured in Kenosha, Wisconsin, USA. The Vito name has been part of the Leblanc Company since the 1950s. An explosion in the demand for clarinets in the US meant the French instrument makers could not meet demand, and thus plastic bodied clarinets were manufactured at the Kenosha plant, which has been expanded four times in the past 50 years.

Rather than injection molding the instrument, the Vito is made by taking a rough cut ‘blank’ made from a composite material called Resotone which is then precision bored to create the clarinet. Drawing on the superior design of the professional subcategory Leblanc clarinets, VITO clarinets provide:

  • A mouthpiece and bore design geared toward characteristic sound.
  • Keywork that is comfortable for young musicians.
  • Durable construction that keeps the clarinet in the hands of the student and out of the shop.

As a part of the Leblanc manufacturing consortium, Vito are still the favorite of school bands the world over.
