I have over 16 years experience teaching the cello and predominately teach in schools and privately in Perth. I completed my Bachelor of Music Performance at UWA in 2006 have been working as a performer and teacher in Perth. I have also studied overseas with eminent teachers.
I have been playing violin for 21 years and teaching for 8 years. I teach full time from my private music studio in Joondanna. I completed my AMEB Grade 8 in Violin with Honours, have played in several orchestras, and participated in numerous competitions.
I have been playing the cello for around 27 years as a student of English cellist Gregory Baron and American cellist Michael Goldschlager. I have been teaching the cello for 12 years, through Instrumental Music School Services, Christ Church Grammar School, Hale School, with St. Stephen’s School and privately.
I have been playing piano since a very young age and competed in Eistedfodds throughout my childhood. These days, I occasionally perform private recitals on piano. I have been teaching piano for about two years.
My name is Madeleine. I have been teaching classical violin for 14 years and I love to encourage my students to enjoy playing music. I am very privileged to have had many opportunities to train under some of the best strings teachers in Australia, and my studies and performances have taken me all over. I received this training at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, and the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music.
My name is Hyewon. I have been teaching Cello over 7 years with students in Korea, San Francisco, New York and Perth ranging in ages between 4-60 to further develop an understanding and appreciation for music.
I have been teaching saxophone, clarinet and guitar privately for 28 years and ran my own music school for 20 years. I have completed my Associate Diploma in Performing Arts (jazz) ADPA at the West Australian Academy of Performing arts (WAAPA). I have performed in bands for 14 years, released CD’s and toured.
My name is Lorenzo Di Paola and I have been teaching for more than 25 years. I received my musical training from some of the finest musicians in Western Australia and Germany, completing both a bachelor and masters in music performance as well as an associate diploma of music with the AMEB.
started my musical career on the clarinet at age 11 and began learning the violin as my second instrument at the age of 13. As of 2017, I had the opportunity to make the permanent switch from the clarinet to the violin. I am currently studying violin at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA).
My name is Nick. I have been teaching double bass and electric bass for 12 years (including the last 7 as a WAAPA sessional staff member), with a focus on jazz and contemporary music. I have completed both a PhD and Bachelor’s degree (First Class Honours) in music, as well as a Bachelor of Science.
My name is Kaelah Williams and I have been playing violin for 7 years. I conduct all my lessons from my house which is based in the northern suburbs of Perth. I am currently undergoing my Bachelor of Music at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in classical violin.
