Nick Abbey
My name is Nick. I have been teaching double bass and electric bass for 12 years (including the last 7 as a WAAPA sessional staff member), with a focus on jazz and contemporary music. I have completed both a PhD and Bachelor’s degree (First Class Honours) in music, as well as a Bachelor of Science.
Lorenzo Di Paola
My name is Lorenzo Di Paola and I have been teaching for more than 25 years. I received my musical training from some of the finest musicians in Western Australia and Germany, completing both a bachelor and masters in music performance as well as an associate diploma of music with the AMEB.
Steven Daly
I am very privileged to have had many opportunities to train under some of the best strings teachers in Australia, and my studies and performances have taken me all over. I received this training at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, and the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music.
Kaelah Williams
My name is Kaelah Williams and I have been playing violin for over 10 years. I conduct all my lessons from my house which is based in the northern suburbs of Perth. As of 2023, I graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts with my Bachelor of Music. I have a wide range of performance experience across a multitude of genres both in concert and behind the camera.

I Graduated WAAPA Bachelor of Music (classical voice) and Opera Performance.
I have 25+years experience in choral singing, training and performing.
I teach across all ages and levels in classical voice, folk, music theatre, jazz, acoustic, contemporary.
I teach from my studio in North Perth or can travel within a radius.
I also offer music theory, aural, sightreading and beginner lever harp.
Renee Ng
My name is Renee and I have been teaching piano and harp for more than 8
years. I received my Bachelor of Music Performance from University of
Sydney in 2018. I also have an Associate diploma in Piano Performance with
TCL and Licentiate Diploma in Harp Performance from AMEB. I teach piano
and harp in my private studio in Stirling.
Paul Saddler
I have been teaching saxophone, clarinet and guitar privately for 28 years and ran my own music school for 20 years. I have completed my Associate Diploma in Performing Arts (jazz) ADPA at the West Australian Academy of Performing arts (WAAPA). I have performed in bands for 14 years, released CD’s and toured.
Beren Scott
I have been playing the cello for around 27 years as a student of English cellist Gregory Baron and American cellist Michael Goldschlager. I have been teaching the cello for 12 years, through Instrumental Music School Services, Christ Church Grammar School, Hale School, with St. Stephen’s School and privately.
Anna Sarcich
I have over 16 years experience teaching the cello and predominately teach in schools and privately in Perth. I completed my Bachelor of Music Performance at UWA in 2006 have been working as a performer and teacher in Perth. I have also studied overseas with eminent teachers.
Mallory Young
Hi, my name is Mallory. I have been playing violin for 21 years and teaching for 8 years. I teach full time from my private music studio in Joondanna. I completed my AMEB Grade 8 in Violin with Honours, have played in several orchestras, and participated in numerous competitions, etc. My Suzuki Violin Teacher Training was first undertaken at the University of Guanajuato in Mexico, and finished here in Perth.
