Manufactured in 2011 in Yamaha’s Indonesian factory to the company’s rigorous high standards. At 121cm this U1JPE is identical to the Japanese U1 in scale design (string length, soundboard size etc.). Although Yamaha do always reserve the absolute highest quality of materials for the Japanese pianos. This piano nonetheless offers the player a wide dynamic range with a bright, clear and powerful sound with the youthful vibrancy one would expect from a brand-new piano.
This Yamaha U1JPE Upright Piano was traded into us by a family relocating to Japan, and to their credit they kept the piano in immaculate condition.
With age on its side, this piano will give many decades of good playing to the next owner.
