Vintage French Violin VN1477 Circa 1890s

This Vintage French Violin VN1477 is a great example of a French trade violin of the 1890s. It bears an internal label of ‘Georges Heynberg, Luther à Liége, Vernis Cremonais’ and features a one-piece back and deep red varnish finish. The instrument has a rich history of playing, a defined scroll, and faint purfling on the edge of the violin. It is fitted with Wittner geared pegs for ease of tuning.
