Hassle Free Instrument Hire
We offer instrument hire with flexible options for schools. Just a need an instrument for a term? We can hire with a minimum of three months and no lock in contract. We offer discounts to school on yearly hire and free yearly pick up and drop off of bulk instrument orders. The best thing about hiring from WA Music is that we are local! Stuck trumpet mouthpiece before a concert? Broken bow or sticky valves? We aim to fix your problem as fast as possible. Whether you are hiring one instrument for a term or a whole band of instruments, once you are in our hire programme you will be under the organised, caring wing of our school team!
In-House Repair and Servicing
Unlike other music stores in Perth, WA Music completes all of our instrument repairs and services in house. Our team of highly-trained luthiers and wind and brass technicians will ensure any instruments bought or hired from us will be maintained to the highest degree. You can rest assured knowing your instruments will be cared for and maintained by the very people involved in its import and sale!

Education Services
All school music departments are eligible for reduced education pricing on musical instruments and accessories. Simply present us with a purchase order number when placing an order with us to receive your special school pricing.
Some common products ordered for music departments include:

- String instrument accessories such as strings, rosins, shoulder rests, bows
- Student wind and brass instruments

Please note that individual music teachers and educators purchasing items for personal use without a purchase order number will not be eligible for our school pricing.
We are pleased to offer a range of orchestral and band instruments for hire to schools across the country. The WA Music Education Program offers hires on a monthly basis, with the option to upsize string instrument available at any time.
Long term hires across the school year are eligible for a 5% discount when paid upfront.

At certain times in the year, we also offer on-site instrument assessments, meaning you can get a clear idea of what your school has ready to offer to students for new or ongoing music programmes. Our Music Education team is comprised of repairers and sales staff ready to take your call and work with your individual school needs to find the best solutions for your music programme. We work closely together a team, so whether you speak to Alastair, Angus, Sally or Marie, you can be assured that all requests will be taken up and dealt with care and attention to detail.

Music Community Donations
At WA Music we believe that a child's access to music shouldn't depend on the wealth or social standing of their family. We partner with schools who don't have the budgets to provide enough instruments for their students. If you have old, still worthy instruments, please donate them for our schools recycle programme so we can give them a better life with a child who needs it.
