This violin has been carefully hand-crafted by German luthier Gunter H. Lobe. Lobe crafts all his instruments to have exceptionally unique character and sound. He works entirely by hand, supported by his extensive years of experience which provide him with strong intuition and skill in crafting sensitive instruments such as the violin.
Lobe pays astute attention to the designs of revered luthiers, specializing in the replication of well-known antique instruments. His violins have won many German and international awards.

This violin was made in Bubenreuth Germany, around 2020. It is a replica model of an Antonio Stradivari violin. These replicas are acknowledged for their ready response, bright acoustics, and balanced projection of sound.
Lobe’s violins are composed of high-quality wood, of which has been seasoned for decades- this violin is no exception. The, back, sides, and neck of this violin are made of a beautiful old sycamore maple. The top is made of gorgeous, aged mountain spruce.

This violin is fitted with an Aubert Mirecourt Deluxe bridge.
The hand-made, alcohol-based varnish has been thinly applied with a brush. This has accentuated a beautiful flamed back, and creates a clean, vintage appearance. The finish is a transparent reddish-brown, and the violin’s beautiful wood shines through, presenting as a bright amber colour.
This instrument is accompanied by its original Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Gunter H. Lobe, and dated 2020.
