This beautiful modern cello was hand made in Cremona, Italy by Master Violinmaker Giorgio Grisales. Giorgio has been making stringed instruments for over 30 years and is a world renowned master luthier. The cello features an Italian spruce top and one-piece figured maple back. The sides, neck and scroll are made from flamed maple. This cello comes with a bow and carbon fibre hard case. The varnish is oil-based with a red and amber shade, highlighting the striking figuring on the back and sides of the instrument.

The Grisales Lutherie in Cremona was founded in 1990 by Giorgio Grisales, a Master Luthier, Bow Maker, and restorer of stringed instruments. Since 2016, Giorgio Grisales has also held the position of President of the Consortium of Cremonese Luthiers.
