This excellent vintage violin hails from Europe and can be traced back to the 1840s. The scroll is softly defined with a striated, one piece back with no flaming. The instrument has extensive purfling with an ornamental border, is fixed with wooden pegs, and has a yellow undertone to the wood. There is no label affixed to inside.
