Description
This silver mounted violin bow was crafted in the mid-20th century by German bowmaker Emilie Werner (1906-1973). This bow is a brilliant example of the classic Bohemian school of bow making of the early 20th century. One notable feature of the Emilie Werner Violin Bow is the tortoise shell frog, which gives it a unique aesthetic and style.
The bow is very evenly balanced, and while it is slightly heavier at the tip it is a super responsive bow.
