Description
This is a lovely example of a French workshop violin that boasts ornamented, gold accented wooden pegs and a striated varnish pattern. The scroll is defined and the two piece back is highly flamed, and there is purfling on the edges of the instrument. The internal label reads ‘ C.H. JB Colin Mezin 1948 Luthier Grand Prix, Paris.’
