Description
This excellent German violin is a copy of an Italian instrument and bears the internal label ‘Caspar da Salo in Brescia’. This violin has a sharply defined scroll, a minimally flamed two piece back, and is fitted with fine wooden pegs. There is evidence of expert repair work on the instrument.
