Handmade vintage English violin made on the maker’s own pattern, but reminiscent of Amati.

Fitted with Wittner fine tune pegs and Kaplan Ammo strings.

Labelled as by luthier, ‘T.Alexander’ of Newcastle, England.

Description

This visually arresting violin was crafted by T. Alexander in Newcastle and is noteworthy for its overall unique pattern, sharply defined scroll and eye-catching ‘f holes’. The two-piece back of this instrument is without flaming and the instrument has intruiging perimeter markings. This violin also features Wittner geared pegs for easy and hassle-free tuning. Its label reads ‘T. Alexander Violin Maker Newcastle’.
