Vintage Violin German 1950s VN1329

A German Violin Circa 1950 labelled ‘Hopf’. The amber spirit varnish is in good overall condition. The violin is based on the Stradivari model with beautifully cut f holes and finely inlaid purfling, all typical of the good German workmanship of the Hopf school.

This violin is fittd with ‘Wittner Fine Tune’ pegs for ease of tuning and the sound very much suits the fitted Dominant strings.
